Old San Juan's colorful colonial streets are walkable straight from the pier, anchored by the Castillo San Felipe del Morro fortress overlooking the Atlantic. Guests can wander the city walls, shop on Calle Fortaleza, or take an evening in the bars and restaurants of La Placita. Beach lovers head to Condado or Isla Verde, and the bioluminescent bays and El Yunque rainforest are popular longer excursions.
